How to Use JetBackup to Backup Your Website?

JetBackup offers both remote and local incremental backups. In simple words, JetBackup is a handy tool that you can make use of whenever you wish to backup your website’s content, such as email, databases, files, and other data.

How to Backup Your Site using JetBackup?

To take a backup of your site using JetBackup, you will first need to login to cPanel. Upon login, you will see the JetBackup section.

Therein, you can choose which backup to download. For example, you can download your SSL certificates, emails, databases, and so on. For example, you can use JetBackup to restore or download backups of your SSL certificates:

Or you can just choose to download a full website backup (the recommended option, as it will contain all your site data including emails and databases).

Once you click Generate Download, you will be prompted to confirm. Following that, the screen will show that the download is in progress.

Once it is ready, you will find the Download link on the same page. Click on it, and your backup will start downloading to your computer. Make sure you save it in a safe location, away from viruses and malware.

That is all! In a few simple steps, you can download backups of your website’s data. This way, if something were to ever go wrong on your site, say a failed setting or an error in updating data, or even a malware attack, you can make use of your backup to start off right where you left.
